Nici Virley from London stayed in our apartment from 3-7 June. She made the following comments which make all our hard work in getting the apartment up together seem worth while.
"The apartment has a lovely, central old town location with a great balcony overlooking bustling pedestrianised streets. Very clean and well maintained with bright, Mediterranean style decor.
The bathroom has the most impressive impact with gorgeous Ibizan blue and yellow tiling and a huge open shower space. The vintage mirror also added a lot of charm to this room. The bedroom was compact but not cramped with an in-built cupboard space and shelving and a large window giving lots of light.
The kitchen area (open plan kitchen/living room space) had modern appliances with easy to use gas hob and washing machine. The living room boasts a large comfortable sofa bed (comfy for sleeping and sitting!) and a large built in wardrobe. The large windows lead out to a delightful balcony that catches the sun all day and fits two chairs for relaxing and watching the world go by beneath you.
The location is perfect for wandering around the historical old town with it's ample choice of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars. You're right in the thick of it all but the apartment is surprisingly quiet once you shut the balcony doors. Taxi ranks and the port (for ferries to beaches and Formentara) are no more than 4 minutes walk away.
I would you stay in it again and recommend it to other people. It's perfect for a couple or even 2 couples who want somewhere central with easy access to the rest of the island. Buses and taxis are easy to find.
